Musikahan sa Tagum


Is a distinct cultural event that celebrates the Filipino excellence in Music composition, performance and production, the end goal of which is to provide the youth with more opportunities to excel in the Music Industry. The annual festival engenders a vision of a fairer and brighter future for the youth through the enhancement of skills in arts and in building creative pathways for gainful employment especially for out-of-the-school-youth.

Tagum City Summer Sportsfest


An eco-adventure and urban challenge promoting the advocacy on the call to care our environment through sports in celebration of the Earth Day, Ocean Month, and Environment Month every April, May and June respectively. The festival is held in the month of May.

Durian Festival sa Tagum City


A month-long showcase of the delectable fresh durian fruit grown in the city and in the neighboring towns. It also puts on center stage the baking of delicacies, cakes and pastries having durian as its main ingredient eventually branding it as the Tagum-made food products for pasalubong.

Tagum City Float portrays the abundance of the Durian Fruit as its major product, which gave birth to Durian Festival celebrated on its peak month (August-September).

Binuhat Festival


The City Tourism Council had initiated another festival this coming month of July designed for all the gays from any point in Mindanao. This will be the first time here in Tagum City that the gays will be the stars for the whole week and this was hailed as the Binuhat Festival that will be staged on July 23 up to 27 this year.

One of the great advocacies of the City Government of Tagum is the Gender and Development Program (GAD) which deals with human rights from all walks of life. The objectives of Binuhat Festival is to provide avenue to showcase gay's talent and artistry, to unify them and to foster acceptance of their gender to the society.

Kaimonan Festival


A Festival celebrated every October that showcase the different tribal songs, dances, games, crafts and rituals.

An avenue of convergence and rekindling of culture, norm and traditions of tipanod (original settlers) of Tagum City. A celebration of bountiful harvest camaraderie.

Pakaradjan Festival


Its a unique and special gathering of dominant Muslim tribes in Tagum City, such as the Ka'gans (original settlers), Maranaos, Maguindanaos, Iranons and Tausogs showcasing their cultural talents in playing Kulintang (music instrument) and traditional dances with a common goal of preserving and promoting their beliefs and traditions.

It is a celebrationof music, dances and cultural presentation with the beat and rhythm of Kulintang, Dobakan and Agong.

Fiesta Celebration


The Feast of the Christ the King is celebrated every November during last Sunday of the Liturgical Year. It is thanksgiving celebration of the devotees for the bountiful blessings they have received for the year with a variety of shows, carnivals and entertainments performed by Music artists free for public viewing usually held at the Tagum City Cultural and Trade Center and at the Freedom Park.
 
 
Indayog Festival


A festival gathering of dance performers, choreographers, directors and educators from all over Mindanao to celebrate the dance arts and culture ranging from traditional, folk to contemporary expressions and scenario and shall features performances, competitions and lecture-demonstrations.

Christmas Celebration


Through nine (9) Nights Extravaganza Variety show hosted and sponsored by the different organizations of the city.

An annual Christmas Festival Celebration for Tagumeños. It features ten (10) nights of Christmas presentations with TV and movie celebrities from Manila are joining with the local talents for celebration. It is an annual Pamaskong Handog of Mayor Rey T. Uy to all constituents. Other featured sceneries during the celebration is the lighting of the Giant Christmas Tree.
