		Nursery Development & Management & Urban Greening & Beautification Program   An area for the propagation/ germination of various plant species to be used for the urban greening and beautification program of the city. The mayor’s love for trees and plants inspired him to beautify the city through the urban greening program where the general public will have the benefit to enjoy its aesthetic value. The setting up of a nursery is a common practice but with the background of the mayor in agriculture, the develop-ment and manage-ment of such facility became effective and efficient.   The Urban Greening Program highlights the beautification of the center islands and the planting of palm trees along the national highway with a total length of 12 kms. This showcases the aesthetic value of Tagum’s national highway which traverses the city to all major destinations in Mindanao. The mayor’s coansistent desire to develop the landscape of Tagum into a conducive, modern but environmentally friendly city has brought the idea and realization of this urban greening program which he dreams to transform the city as the “Palm Capital of the Philippines”.
