He initiated the development of this underwater park to rehabilitate the degraded marine resources with the goal to develop the eco-tourism potential of the city’s coastal barangays. He has a vision for Tagum to become a diving destination in the country where tourists from all over the world will be attracted to visit the site. He means to preserve the marine ecosystem, promote tourism and provide economic opportunities for the local residents.
