Mayor Uy addresses workforce to serve well the public

TAGUM CITY - Culminating the recently concluded 110th Founding Anniversary of Philippine Civil Service at Tagum’s Freedom Park on Monday, Mayor Rey T. Uy addresses the LGUs workforce to serve the public on its maximum tolerance. “Our taxpayers deserve our utmost courteous and effective services…tax is the lifeblood of our LGU,” Mayor Uy remarks.
Through the Human Resource Management Office, LGU Tagum organizes series of activities for the whole month of September to bond more employees in Bayanihan (Shelter-Assistance, soil bagging, manualia, tree planting), Sports (ballgames, mind games, marathon, cheerdance, Larong-Pinoy), and Health Services (AH1N1 Vaccination, bone scanning, dental services). 
Mayor Uy’s wisdom to give break to employees is based on a dictum, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Uy wants to ensure that after hardwork, his employees are well compensated and have to be rewarded.
“We will not stop thinking for the best that we can do to our constituents”, Mayor Uy emphasizes as he speaks about responsible and accessible services that started during his term long time ago. His cellular phone number made well known to the public is the best attestation how his administration can directly reach by the public without much bureaucracy.
“Thank you for your tireless services to our fellow Tagumeños,” Mayor Uy says. With his love for dedicated employees, Mayor Uy will personally spend his own money for the Asian trip of some identified retirable employees in LGU Tagum scheduled to fly sooner.
On the other hand, it can be noted that Mayor Uy has also spent quality time with the LGU retirees during the Salamat-Paalam testimonial program in time with the LCE night last weekend.
