GKK’s and Parishes begins to celebrate Flores de Maria

Tagum City – The Christian community of the various parishes in this city is now mounting their respective chapels allowing the parishioners to prepare their blessed offerings to the Virgin Mary at the altar with songs and flowers.

Flores de Maria, being one of the activity components of the 2010 Flores De Tagumeño is now being visited by the different flocks of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Quasi-Parish and the Parish of the Christ the Eucharistic King (PCEK) where children of diverse ages and genders attended their summer religious event with dedication and love to Mother Mary.

Marian songs has been sang by these kids to adore and give fondness to the blessed lady as they showered their roses in red and white, bloomed orchids and flowery grasses with full wish and devotion.

As of this writing, the GKK Fatima in Villa Consuelo, Apokon, Tagum City where the Sacred Heart Quasi Parish was the very first community to be visited by the roman catholics and activity assessors. Novena and Holy Mass was offered by Reverend Father Cielo Cabias, the Parish Priest of the said quasi-parish.

In spite of the heavy downfall rains and the power shutdown during the celebration the flores de maria first day observation was successfully conducted.
