In a post-Christmas day party, more than two hundred (200) Barangay Health Workers (BHW) in the 23 Barangays of Tagum City were renewed anew as they received Certificates of Accreditation for the year 2012 from the Registration and Accreditation Committee (RAC) of the Local Health Board from the City Government of Tagum held at the Tagum Trade and Cultural Center last December 26, 2011.

TAGUM CITY (December 26 at 7:30am) - City Mayor Rey T. Uy expressed on during the Monday morning convocation before city hall employees that if similar catastrophe that devastated the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan recently could hit Tagum, the local government is partly to blame for acting so complacent about the typhoon signal warnings released by the country's weather bureau.

A total of four hundred fifty three (453) local peacekeepers from the 23 barangays of the City of Tagum received last December 24, 2011 their year-end cash subsidy and additional incentive from the city officials headed by Tagum City Mayor Rey T. Uy and Vice Mayor Allan L. Rellon at the city's freedom park. Each of them received 2,000 pesos while two hundred ninety one (291) peacekeepers were also given an additional 1,000 pesos for their “outstanding job” in the past year.
