With the latest development in literacy, the public now has the access to information regarding government plans and programs on literacy, special events and records showing transparency in how the local government runs and where development efforts

Another access to information is the “I-text mo si Mayor” Program, This is one way of being always within reach to any one and all who is in need through the use of text messaging. With this program, the Tagumeños can now text or calls the LCE anytime on his cellular phone the number of which remained the same since 1998. In this way, he encourages community participation through a simple yet functional system that allows him to readily respond to those who have requests or grievances in an economical, effective and expedient manner.
