The formulation of the Executive-Legislative Agenda of the City Government of Tagum was made on June 28-29 at Sultan Hall, Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City. The new set of elected officials actively participated the forum with an elating enthusiasm in coursing their action for the welfare of Tagumeños. Showing their unity and solidarity, they have created the Standing Committees and finalized the Internal Rules and Procedures of the City Council.

In coordination with the DILG, Director Amando Zablan emphasizes the significance and importance of formulating the ELA as it provides strategies and techniques in one objective of the Local Chief Executive and the Sangguniang Panlungsod in charting a common agenda for the locality towards a unified vision, mission, and goals that will lead to the speedy implementation of the priority programs of the City Government.

As regards budgetary concern, Budget Officer Dean Briz discusses the comparative income and expenditures of the City Government for the year 1998-2007. The figure provides an idea to our Officials in visualizing the fiscal trend of the city government.

On the brief scenario of Tagum, Planning & Development Coordinator Rey Cadeliña presented the demography and geographical information of the City as well as the performance rating of the City Government of Tagum based on the Local Government Performance Management System with the key performance areas on administration, social services, economic development, environmental development and governance.

Concluding the whole event, Hon. Mayor Rey T. Uy presented his executive priorities and Vice Mayor Allan Rellon presented the legislative support and priorities of the 4th City Council to effectively and efficiently approve measures designed for the development & progress of our City.
