RTU Innovations and Outstanding Performance

A P2M fund was appropriated for the immediate provision of medicines & hospitalization for patients with a signed referral from the mayor instead of going through several offices before such assistance will be released.

The Mayor also assigned a personnel at the Davao Regional Hospital to facilitate requests for medical assistance. In effect, the city government saves cost in providing direct health services to our indigent clients.

Mayor Uy also facilitated the installation of an effective and responsive system through the immediate provision of hemodialysis and blood assistance to kidney patients.

Recognizing dental health as a vital component in nutrition, quality education and reduction of family expenditure on dental care, the mayor provided several interventions.

He provided access to free basic dental services delivering thorough dental treatment with restorative, preventive and pain alleviation components for public school children.
