Historical Background:
Visayan Village was created into a barangays through a Municipal Resolution approved in 1951. Its name was derived from the fact that predominant tribe come from the Visayas. However, there are also other tribes who live in the barangay, like; Ilocanos, Mindanao natives (the Mansakas and Mandayas), Juloanos and Kalagans, but these are only the minority populace
