VISION:
Economically stable, peaceful living thru unity for progress of Barangay New Balamban.

MISSION:
Coordinated planning in solving problems with industry and determination coupled with unity and cooperation for the development of the barangay.

Historical Background:
Barangay New Balamban was created and passed through a Resolution dated October 4, 1945 and it was come from one of the “Sitio” of Barangay Magdum. And because of Antonio Labastida and here family as the early settlers in the place, they were decided to bring the name of their place which is Balamban, Cebu. Together with the native “Mansaka” they developed the barangay and appoint a Tenyente del Barrio named Antonio Labastida in the year 1948-1952. During that year, their Resolution to declared and become one of the barangays in the municipality of Tagum.

After the leadership of Antonio Labastida, it was followed- by his eldest daughter Primitiba Labastida in the eyar 19552-56. Followed by Egnacio Labastida in year 1956-57. In 1957-61 was Edilberto Ranario and followed by Pedro Hangad in year 1961-76. When Pedro Hangad died in the year 1976, it was followed by Captain Telecforo Acaso and he served until 1999. At present, Hon. Merlinda Acaso-Dumat was the Barangay Captain and daughter of former Captain Telesforo Acaso
