		REY T. UY MAYOR Born on March 26, 1956 in Madaum Tagum to philantropist business oriented parents Mr. Ong Teng Iga Uy and Mrs. Tao Sui Eng - Uy who started their small business in Barangay Madaum in the early 1930s. He graduated Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City. Married to former Miss Alma Inocente Lim, a registered nurse. Blessed with 3 children. Ciara Isabelle - a graduate of Legal Management at Ateneo de Manila University, De Carlo - a graduate of Business Management in La Salle University - Manila and Emerald - a graduate of Culinary Arts at Culinary Institute of America, USA. Mayor Uy joined politics in 1988 as elected Board Member of Davao del Norte for 2 terms (1988 - 1992) & (1995 - 1998). First elected City mayor of Tagum (1998 - 2001). Reelected City Mayor (2004 - Present).
