Born on December 3, 1950 with parents Eleuterio Camangyan Remitar and Asoncion Cervantes Ceniza, married to Eustequia Daligdig Tuling-Remitar and blessed with 2 children namely Dexter & Donald Francis. Graduated Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Accounting & Bachelor of Science in Education. Board Passer at University of Mindanao Tagum College whose public service started as No. 1 Barangay Kagawad of Apokon (1982 – 1989), Punong Barangay of Apokon (1989 – Sept 2006), ABC President (1994 – 2002), and Appointed City Councilor of Tagum (Sept 2006 – Present). Received Excellence Achievement Award from Gawad Media Research Evaluation Society. Most Outstanding Barangay Captain of the Philippines (December 1996 & July 2000), and Outstanding Model Public Official of the Phils (Feb 1998). As appointed City Councilor, led the measure on C.O. #229, s-2006 (An Ordinance Revising M.O. #2, s-1997, “An Ordinance Establishing the Comprehensive Solid Waste Management of the Municipality of Tagum and Providing Penalties for Violations thereof.”).
