Born on January 23, 1960 of parents Merdonio Castrence Caasi and Adelfa Alegre-Caasi (Deceased), married to Gemma Otaza-Caasi and blessed with 2 children namely; Vreni Diew and Sydney. Graduated Bachelor of Science, in Marine Technology at Philippine Merchant Marine School, a 3 termer elected Municipal and 2nd termer City Councilor of Tagum.

Support on Plant Now Pay Later program for high quality fruits and other agri-products.
Infrustructure development focusing on the New City Hall, Employees Village, parks & playgrounds, school buildings, drainage and roads.
