The Department of Education – (BALS) Bureau of Alternative Learning System has accorded Department0 0of Education (DepEd) Division of Tagum City, Region XI as this year’s 1st Placer National Champion for Most Efficient City Division in the implementation of the Alternative Learning System, citing the very strategic partnership of DepEd and the Local Government of Tagum
City.

Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Plaque of Merit

This plaque was given to Mayor Rey T. Uy for his unfaltering and ardent support to the cause of the Jail Bureau by being its generous partner in the implementation of its plans and programs. Without his support warmest support, many of the achievements of the Jail Bureau could not have been realized.

Sandugo Outstanding Local Government Executive Award - Hall of Fame Award

This award was given to Mayor Rey T. Uy for his outstanding support, commitment and active involvement in the promotion of voluntary blood donation for FIVE (5) CONSECUTIVE YEARS towards the achievement of the vision of Republic Act 7719, otherwise known as the "National Blood Services Act of 1994".

The City got a Rank 1 in Cost in Doing Business and Responsiveness of LGUs to Business Needs.
