BINUHAT FESTIVAL 2009 in it's 2nd Year!
Last year, Tagum City Tourism Council in coordination with Tagum City Tourism Office and tagum Gay Association introduced the one of a kind festival that can only be found in Tagum City - The Binuhat Festival.
With it's success last year, and the people really embraced the said event- now the Binuhat Festival is now preparing for another weeklong fun and enjoyable activities which features the talents and skills of our Binuhat sisters (gays).
Here are the schedules prepared by Mr. Darwin Suyat, the Tagum City Gay Association President and Mr. Lucio Jamero that will surely be another milestone for Tagum City, known to be the City of Festivals.

TCNCHS Branch, Section Pandapan Open
Getting a positive response from Mayor Rey T. Uy, Tagum City National Comprehensive High School (TCNCHS), open its First Branch at Pandapan Elementary School (PES), Tagum City whose first year enrollees will be called Section Pandapan - SY 2009-2010.

City of Tagum Commemorates - 111th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Philippine Independence
12 June 2009. City of Tagum Mayor Rey T. Uy and City Tourism Council Chair Madam Alma L. Uy led the Tagumeños in the celebrating of the 111th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence “Pilipinas Kong Mahal 2009” with its theme: “Kagitingan, Kagalingan at Kasipagan Tungo sa Tunay na Kalayaan.”
