Mayor Uy Bags The Most Outstanding City Mayor
Mayor Rey T. Uy was hailed by the Department of Interior and Local Government as the Most Outstanding City Mayor of Local Government Unit of Tagum last June 30 of this year at the Bulwagan ng Panlalawigan, Government Center Provincial Capitol Tagum City. He was awarded as the Most Oustanding City Mayor as he shows exemplary performance in his administration for the past few years.
Tagum City Introduces Binuhat Festival
The City Tourism Council had initiated another festival this coming month of July designed for all the gays from any point in Mindanao. This will be the first time here in Tagum City that the gays will be the stars for the whole week and this was hailed as the Binuhat Festival that will be staged on July 23 up to 27 this year.

Tagum City Supports World Environment Month
Taking part for saving our Mother Earth against global warming, the City Government of Tagum initiated the turning off of electricity last June 18, year 2008 from 7:00 o’clock up to 8:00 o’clock in the evening as mandated under the Resolution No. 312, a resolution that states the “Citywide Turning off of Electricity” formulated by City Councilor Francisco Remitar.
